We fight gravity more since it comes to us like a magnet.  I'll take my dog. My husband cares how he looks, and he takes care of himself the best he can. I appreciate that. I also think bald headed men can be very attractive. It's the eyes!!!

Sorry but he doesn't do a thing for me.  I will take George Clooney any day.  In addition, as another poster stated, no way will I allow myself to age gracefully!!!  I'm in my mid 50's and I have always been the type of person to work hard at being the best that I can be. I have always taken care of my skin & hair, I do Pilates reformer 4 times a week for 50 min each session and I walk 3-4 miles 4 days a week .   I'm still the same size that that I was at 20 (size 6). I'm In the hair salon every 8 weeks getting color touch ups and hair shaped.  I go to the Chanel counter at Nordstrom's every Spring and Fall to have my makeup updated and we eat very healthy.  I have been doing all of the above my entire life while having a career and raising two daughters.  My husband also takes care of himself the same way, so did my parents and our adult daughters.

I agree that bald can be beautiful.  Bruce Willis comes to mind!

Because people post things like this that hold up one man as an example of how to age well while calling women out for aging poorly.

Aging and beauty are about perception, and things like this do nothing to help the double-standard that men age well and women do not.

@ChynnaBlue****I was quoteing attitidues in society.

You did, and quoting without refuting it strengthens and perpetuates the attitude. It's too late to play like you aren't a part of it because you were just quoting others.

Why is it some men never lose their appeal, and women "age"?

YUMMY!!!

He looks a bit weathered to me.   If this guy was sitting in a restaurant booth eating breakfast, obviously hung over, most women wouldn't give him a second look.   JMO

oh man! Sam Elliot! I had a mad crush on this man when I was in high school! lol! I'm going so far as to embarrass myself by admitting that I had his photo cut down small enough to fit into my ID card jacket so I could look at his gorgeous face all day. (okay, I'm blushing and shrinking now!) but he seriously was so handsome back then. now? eh. (sorry Sam!)

I just don't get the appeal.  If you remove his moustache, you'd see he's not at all that attractive.

My husband is still blonde at 68, no white hairs.  Looks good too.
