The camera in my kitchen window has a night vision lens and it's picking up the Northern Lights beautifully!  I can't see it with my own eyes though because the street light is too bright.  Amazing green and pink colors showing up though!  I've never seen them this intense!

Edited to add another picture!  Wow!!!  Really intense pink now!

@LdyBugz.  Our local meteorologist in Albuquerque said you have to get away from city lights to an area that's absolutely dark, like the mountains.

@Kachina624. If I didn't gave my jammies on already, I would drive around and try to find a spot that didn't have street lights or store lights.  😃

If you Google "Northern Lights New England", there is a Facebook page where prople are posting their pictures.  Absolutely beautiful and amazing!

@hullie. Stunning!  Isn't it amazing?!  The colors are so intense and vibrant.  Supposed to be cloudy tomorrow in my area so I'm glad I got to see this tonight!

Yes, Conditions are right for these Aurora lights. I didn't realize they were so wide spread?

I have only seen white streaks. Further North in Northern Minnesota they are often visible and tonight is a good night. Usually they come very late or early A.M. but it was mentioned visible at dark Dinner hour tonight. Viewers send in photos to news stations. So pretty.

People travel to Scandinavia to see them and here we are a gift to us as well in sections of the USA.
