@cjm61 @words to live by !   My grandmother used to say "never say never ".  And boy did that turn out to be true many times .....

It seems that I have overpaid for jeans and handbags....we haven't touched on shoes and sandals.  Cat Surprised

Never would I ever try to understand how come some people want the things they buy. 

 

My mother would buy 10 pairs of cheap but fashionable shoes.  All of which either hurt her feet or wore out and looked shabby quickly only to be tossed.

 

I'd buy one pair of expensive shoes that would last for years.  And save space and money in the long run.

 

Different folks are motivated by different things.  My dad?  Buy the best!  My mom? Buy 14 on sale!!!!!  Me?  Somewhere in the middle.  I will always look for a great deal--on the best!  

 

It's never easy for sure!

@CalminHeart I have a very close friend that does math like that when she thinking about a new purchase.  When she finishes the math she always says...That means it is almost free.  We then have a great big laugh!!  She has been doing this since we learned math skills!!
