Need some help with text in a card

I have been asked to create a card for a seriously ill teen and his family...I can come up with the artwork for his card but I need a little help with the text inside the card.

While I have done this many times in the past I am stumped with what to say...I feel sick for this family and the outcome for their son does not look good.

The card would include money for food, gas, lodging.

If I could get a jumping off spot as far as words that would help...

@Laura14 This is a beautifully written and heartfelt note. If I I were trying to find find a way to convey my thoughts I wouldn't change a word.

If you're comfortable with it, you may want to check with ChatGPT and then tweak the wording to something that sounds like you.

@Laura14 and @ThinkingOutLoud I combined your text added a bit of my own text and the card turned our so nice...I appreciate your help and all other suggestions. This group never fails to help when asked.
