I have a plastic encased laser measurer. There is a place for the wristlet to attach to your wrist. Unfortunately, and I know it is hard to describe, you are supposed to push the thing cord at the end and it should come up out of the other end. Picture a 1.4: hole with a tiny plastic bit in the middle---in one end, up out the other around the "bit." Well, I can push the cord in with tweezers, but it all goes in, bunches up, but nothing comes up so I can grabi it with the tweezers. It is almost as if I need something hooklike so I could grab it. It is only as big as the tweezers. Any suggestions would be welcome. Very frustrating.

@geegerbee I think you need to get someone to help you who can see what you're talking about.

Get a tiny screwdriver like the type used to repair eyeglasses ( or what is used by jewelers, too). Kits with such screwdrivers are sold in drugstores like CVS or Walgreens forveyeglass repairs. The benefit of the screwdriver is it is narrow, just long enough, and has a flat end suitable for pushing and nudging the wrist strap without snagging.
So take the tiny loop and use the thin screwdriver to push it gently thru and the strap material will not bunch. When the loop makes its way visibly thru the opening, now use the end of the slim screwdriver to pry it thru the rest of the way and finish the loop operation.
Your problem is that you do not have a tool small enough and thin enough yet sturdy enough to fit and reach where you need it without causing bulk and bunching. Any jewelers screwdriver or the eyeglass repair type will facilitate your push, loop, pull thru technique. Hope I've helped.

Got it!!! Thanks for all your hints. What worked was adding thin string to the strap and stuffing it in the hole until a bit started to show. Then I used tweezers to pull it out.
