@Bookplate

Admittedly, Beyond Colin, I didn't know the names of individual members.

I looked him up and see he died in 2004 at 58...young.

Sad that he missed this resurgence.  What an amazing time it was when all these groups were filling the airwaves.  I'm glad to have been able to enjoy it then and love that I'm getting another chance, too.

Re: Musical Blast from the Past

@Witchy Woman   Thank you for thinking of me when you watched AHDN. I own the DVD; best sound track ever in a film! Did you know that was the first album the Beatles did where all the music was written by them?

I love the Zombies! Now I have to look up their tour schedule to see whether they'll be appearing close to me. Lucky you!☘️

I saw them on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame special in 2020 and they sounded just like they always did. I thoroughly enjoyed their performance.

Loved Zombies music.  I can remember every lyric of She's not there and Tell her no.  Great memories.

@Pearlee

You know all those little details about the Beatles that never crossed my mind.  Somehow, we just didn't think about who was writing what...I'll chalk it up to being young and infatuated.

The Zombies concert was soul soothing...and they did some of their new music which is good.  They've got a new vinyl album out, "Different Game."

So nice to travel down "memory lane" with great tunes.

It's just amazing how much wonderful music was produced during those years.  I'm sorry I didn't appreciate it more, but I love every minute of it now.

Hoping you get to see them!

Re: Musical Blast from the Past

Thanks @Witchy Woman   I hope so too.😄

I've said it before here, but while I don't like being as old as I am now with my bad hips and other arthritis aches and pains,

I wouldn't have wanted to miss the 1960s fab music (Motown, the Beatles and the rest of the British Invasion) for anything.

My life is so much richer for loving that music for decades.

Thank so much for letting me know the Zombies are still active. 🙂
