I love concerts especially since I have been opened to varied artists through Pandora!
Although, this isn't my season for anything but an indoor concert, Billy Strings was here this past weekend. He's amazing, plays a variety of instruments, mega talented!
Some concerts have you STAND the entired time (nothing to lean on) with rare, limited seating available.
There is no way I am going to a standing concert!
Would you stand for a concert?????

Never! Not even when I was young.

I'm officially too old and too cheap to pay what they're asking for tickets and attend any concerts.
Maybe if The Beatles reunited I'd consider it. ![]()

@ECBG FUN QUESTION 😃
When I was younger, I only seemed to go to concerts where you had to stand, even though you technically had a seat. lol.
The first concert I ever attended where people actually sat and listened was Eric Clapton. It was incredible!
Now, I'm probably gonna want to sit, but I'd consider alternating sitting and standing for the right musician.

Maybe when I was a teenager. I've been to very few concerts in my life and now only go to a Southern Gospel Artist concert.

We attended A LOT of concerts. Most are Gospel/Southern Gospel, but some are not. I couldn't imagine standing the entire time on purpose. We always have seats but there are times at the G/SG concerts where we are temporarily moved to stand in worship, but then we sit again when the song concludes.

I used to go to concerts all the time in my teen years and thru my 20's--back when tickets were not the amount of a car payment. Not any more---- mostly because of the crowds and who knows if you won't get shot!!!

We did go to some back in the day: Stones, U2, etc. Heard Steve Perry then didn't hear a thing for a week.
No concert on earth would I ever have stood up for. Never really liked them because the sound is usually not great, too many people, too uncomfortable. Stay home and listen in peace!

Standing is not a problem for me. I can stand a long time w/o any issues. I spent my career standing all day on cement floors.
Here in Colorado Springs there is a brand new amphitheater opening this summer and the first performer there will be OneRepublic who are Colorado Springs natives. I love that band and was thinking about going to their concert.

Oh my gosh! Weren't you lucky?
My first concert was Jimi Hendrix (Purple Sage) in the 10th grade. A school club got a bus and somehow, I got to go. All I remember is a scene with Jimi on the stage.
I would have loved to see Pink Floyd (up close) but there was no way to find out about concerts except the paper and a radio blurb.
I wish I could have seen Sting too.
One I saw last summer that are top notch are the Wailin' Jennys. These 4 instrument playing artists are all highly acclaimed Canadian folk artists that banded together. Please look up "Calling All Angels". They're amazing.
Also Patty Griffin, youtube. Her "Mary" and "Up To The Mountain" are so inspiring.
