Good Morning Puddles, Firefly left you two messages on the thread you started here in AF's I think it's the one that's titled "Attention Sidewalk Cafe Friends"...her posts are the last 2 before mine and Possums. I was hoping she'd see my posts as your thread was about to go to page 2 over on the Community Chat. 

Thanks for asking about me yesterday. Like I told Carolina, I think I just wore myself out. My post count jumped over 1600 in just a little over 2 months. So I just wanted everyone to know I was taking more of a laid back approach this time. I think I worried about that thread too much...trying to keep it flowing daily. I know you understand. 

I told Possum yesterday that I wish your Cafe thread and the Kindred Spirits thread would come back over this way. It just feels so disconnected with y'all over there. But I understand if you choose to stay there too....

LIG, I totally understand the "taking a laid back approach" to the forums.  I'm going to start the Summer thread back in Among Friends and then I'm taking a break myself.  DH & I have so much going on with the flat and the places we want to go and the people we want to see before we move back to the States.

I'll keep trying to connect with Firefly.  I've left messages everywhere I can think she might be roaming.  She's was such a good friend checking on me every day during my 12 months of surgeries.

BTW, I think of you often as people ask me how I am doing and I say "life is good."

Hi LIG,  I was wondering how the dinner turned out.  Goodness how much smoke does he want?  I don't know if it makes a difference but ours is propane and when the chips are lit and the water is around it, it puts out nice smoke but like I told you, I'm not out there with him and we have a huge fan aimed in the direction of the smoker, which is vertical with, I think, 5 shelves, and the smoke is blown away from my bird feeders.  Long as your smoker smokes, then it's working properly.

Did you see on Hooty's thread someone from the Q posted?  Are they going to be joining in on all the conversations if they're watching us that closely?  All these years of posting lots of people have had horrible things happen in their life and no one from tthe Q has said anything.  I am happy for Hooty, not complaining about that one iota, just this new QVC thing.... If they're reading this, please put on the suggestion box, a separate gamers thread!!  Community chat and Among Friends are busy threads, lighten the load and please put sub forums back..  and new icons, these are pitiful looking..

Guess I'll be banned now huh?  LOL   Oh when Carolina asked about you, I answered her but I can't find that post, guess it's my eyes again.  I did tell her basically you had a lot going on...

Well mine has certainly enjoyed his and his food has been delicious.   The chicken he fixed over the week-end was absolutely perfect.

Now, when you're not logged in...you don't see the arrows. Probably the reason you didn't see them yesterday. {Because you have excellent vision...right?}LOL

I didn't pay any attention to anything like that, it's bad enough learning the new navigation..  Our  channel master isn't doing a very good job of showing the way... like I said, it's learning by trial and error.
