It was more than that comment… it was in conjunction with the demonstration
The host went hunchback and preceded to walk across the camera
I’m not offended but I do think it was in poor judgment
Joke all you want with Joan stories… I agree
But the way walk she walked while on set to me is not necessary
I saw it @katie1859
And did not take it that way AT all.
They were crouching down because that's what Joan did! As tiny as she was, she still would crouch and tip toe so cute right in Front of the camera....and didn't care.

I had no idea Melissa had lost her home in the fires in CA and all her memorabilia. What a terrible loss.
I think I'll lookup her podcast.
Thanks @amyb

Totally, yes, exactly that...it was always so funny. Joan loved to do it and made fun of herself doing it. It's been a longtime inside Q joke with the hosts since then. It's one of those endearing Joan stories. I'm sure she could do whatever she wanted on QVC, though really, by all accounts there, she was not a diva and truly a professional...but at the end of the day, always a comedianne at heart. She added such fun to QVC, and I love how grateful she always was for that "gig" working out for her. ❤️ Ole Joan...one of a kind and forever missed.

I saw a show a few weeks ago and for the life of me I don't remember where. The host! was asking her 20 questions and it was a riot!!! I had forgotten how funny she was. She broke through the ceiling of all male comedians being considered funnier. It was said that women could not be pretty AND funny. She was both and fearless. What a combo.
I bet that was funny! Well said @cody2 She definitely was ALL that...Bitzie said this once to me in a DM back & forth we did over the topic of whether or not they could bring back JR's nail polishes, (sadly, never gonna happen)...but Bitzie said to me.."Joan was one of one." She certainly was. Gave us lots of years of humor, but was also so stylish, gracious, as you say fearless, smart and classy.
I saw her live shows, way back in the day, (late 70's and early 80s) when I worked at a local summer theater in the round where she used to perform. Then about 15 yrs ago, took my mom to see her at our local casino, as a surprise, for mom's 80th birthday. My mom was thrilled to see her, didn't blink at Joan's "more bold" personality with colorful language, as compared her QVC persona...it was such a fun night and memory for us to have shared, after both watching her "together" from our homes on Q. Mom kept saying "doesn't Joan look great?!!" ❤️
