Hey, I really do have a mini Fridge and it works great. Did stop using it for a spell - had it in the carport - as teenagers were filling it, emptying, it even more quickly and so it went. I would put some things in there and in a very short while = it was empty.
Ate at Steak and Burger - kind of across the street. Well really there is a Wash by my house, then a business which use to be a home then the street. On the other side of the street is Yucaipa, Ca, San Bernardino County and on my side of the street it is Calimesa, Ca, Riverside County. This has NEVER made any sense to me and I have been here since 1960. Just dumb in my opinion.
Got two loads of clothes done today - am getting so tired of that and also raked up some rose bush cuttings Shannon did. she NEVER picks up anything and always it is left for me to do the dirty work. I raked the cuttings out of my driveway and piled them up and put them in the yard waste container.
Am fixing some kabobs tomorrow - pineapple, red and green peppers, purple onions, chicken and whatever else I can think of. Will have Davey handle them on the grill - he LOVES cooking on a grill. That is a positive thing. Will have some macaroni salad with them -
I treasure this time of year as it is special to those military heroes who did not make it home the way we had hoped - I had two in my family - my 47 year old brother in Nam and my 27 year old army Uncle who was a pilot and he died in 1943. Many other military family members did make it home but most are gone now and I treasure their memories.

Hello all, compared to the past 4 days, it's supposed to be a degree or two cooler around here with less humidity. Just the break I needed to open some windows in my house. It's the strangest thing - I live in a two story house and even though I can get the jump on hot and humid weather by turning on the A/C, after a few days of mid-80 degree weather, the upstairs of my house feels like it needs to breath, lol.
Not humid, not clammy, not even really stuffy - just like my house is holding it's breath and needs to exhale. I have a gable fan in the attic that goes on automatically too. Okay I know I'm weird :-)
I watched the forecast before heading off to work and opened most of the windows upstairs and a couple downstairs.
My birds seemed to like hearing the chaotic conversation from all of the outside birds that were waking up and feeding their screaming kids, lol.
I'll have to shut the windows later tonight as we are expecting some rain tomorrow and I want to beat the humidity.
There you go, that's the kind of excitement I have in my life. I didn't mind returning to work after 4 days off. I can't say the same for Grayson. He went all Star Trek on me and was like a Klingon. He kept sitting on my slippers or grabbed at my yoga pants as I was moving about the house.
