Bernie, thanks for updating us on Epi. Glad to know she is doing well - that is good!!!!!

Am so very tired - shortly will hit the sack as my Dad always said.

Busy day - seems to be a trend - and not reallyh accomplishing much in my opinion. Geesh.

Got some more bagel to leave - even at this time of night. Have a great day tomorrow everyone.

Hey there Fencers - another overcast day here.  I don't know if we will get on again off again showers like yesterday.

My eldest sister is back in the hospital.  They are evaluating her for possible Guillain-Barre'.  She has to undergo a spinal tap and is afraid that it will hurt - she has to be fully awake for it.  Although I've never had one myself, I assured her that she will probably feel something but it shouldn't be as severe as being a bone marrow donor.  I think the most important thing for her to do is 'be still' during the procedure which is easier said than done when you are terrified :-(

Morning, another rainy day here so no yard work will be done.

@Bird mama, sorry to hear about your sis, hope all goes well, am not familiar with that so I can't offer any suggestions, but will keep her in my prayers

Hoping to get lasagna made today, put in freezer for a company dinner in the future, kind of makes it quite easy for entertaining.

@Winifred, Thanx for the bagels & coffee, was a good treat this AM

@spix

Essie, all I can do is pray for her right now.  So far the MRI of the cervical spine (neck region) came back negative for anything.  They did an MRI of her head last night to rule out stroke - that came back negative for anything.

She is undergoing the spinal tap this morning.

@Bird mama  I am so sorry your poor sister is having continuing health issues.  Hopefully, it won't be as painful as I have heard, but it is terrifying, and I don't know why patients can't be given something to avert the pain.  Please post what she says about the experience.

Morning, Sadie got me up early today she's out on the deck sunning herself, oh well good to get going around town.

Still worried about putting out my plants, supposed to go down in the 30's, yikes! can't believe I've kept them alive this long on my counters.

DD will be here for supper so I have 1 small loaf pan of lasagna for supper, think I'll do some Italian sausage on the grill as a go with, will leave any leftovers at the back fence, enjoy!

Hello there - the really bad storms missed my area, whew!  The sub is shining and I think rain could be rolling back in a couple of time this weekend.  My grass has grown in one week's time and I am trying to figure out how to fit in some lawmowing.  I don't like to cut damp grass - not good for the grass.

My sister said the spinal tap didn't hurt at all.

My sister has RA and gets infusion therapy for that auto immune disease.  Guillain-Barre is an auto immune disease that attacks the nerves.  Usually Guillain-Barre comes on a person out of the blue.  I mentioned to my middle sister the other night - you know what, what if Anna has Guillain-Barre and it didn't come on out of the blue because she was getting infusion therapy to suppress the immune system for the RA.

Anna hasn't had an infusion therapy since March when she fell down, smacked her head and went into the hospital.  Could the symptoms of Guillain-Barre be showing themselves more strongly the longer Anna goes without RA infusion therapy?

My middle sister mentioned to Anna my theory and Anna told her nurse about RA infusion therapy.  It was not on an intake records that Anna takes infusion therapy for the RA.  We might be on to something as they wait for the spinal tap results to come back.

I keep praying whatever is wrong with Anna is treatable and recoverable (if that's even a word).

Hello everyone - guess I really do not have much to say at the Fence. I so wish all who use to come here would return. Sigh. Enjoy those who visit now but do miss them sorely - such great people. As I have said before, some just cannot get here as they are our angels now. MGH started this with her daughter - cannot believe I just drew a blank on the daughter - OK, Betty, come back here and  save me.. Shame on me.

Very hot today in Sou Cal - hopefully tomorrow will not be as brutal as today.

Hope one and all are well and happy.

Spix, forgot to thank you for the food - yummy indeed. I am usually first in line to chow down. Am sure your DD also enjoyed what you prepared.

Chilly this morning but that does not mean anything yet, still could get miserably hot but have a hunch that today will NOT be a repeat of yesterday. Hope not.

It rained, AGAIN.  I suppose I shouldn't complain as others are begging for rain.  It's going to fall into the 30's tonight.  This is why I am still wearing corduroy pants to work, lol.
