I want to cancel mine also!  This is extreme and terrible.  You don't know how bad it is until you experience it firsthand.  Temps way below zero and wind chill which is like unbelievable and snow and drafts --- OMG.  I can't get warm no matter what I do.  And have to leave all water dripping and all doors which contain pipes open so hopefully they don't freeze up!  And you can't even get to your mailbox and even if you could, the mailbox is frozen solid.  People's trash cans are flying all over the place and it's chaos!  Merry Christmas!!!!

I have lived in PA my entire 72 years, first in central Pa and NE PA for the last nearly 54. Winter is cold, can be snowy/icy etc, but this weather is just nuts.

My furnace is running like crazy and it is still chilly in here, darned wind.  I think I could see dollar bills coming out of the chimney if I were crazy enough to want to go outside and  look. Next Wednesday can't come soon enough, 30 and sunny.

We have a big black igloo on our side porch w/roof.  DD put down sheets of insulation on one side of the floor and against the railing (patio table held it in place), covered with straw. The she put the 2 big insulated cat shelters she made under each end of the patio table, added a new big cat bed and covered it with straw.  The whole shebang is covered with heavy black construction sheeting and secured. Cut an entry for cats. She said when she went out to feed them at 6 last evening it was like a clown car, all 7 came out of their igloo.

Does it look good, no and we don't care, strays needed the extra protection with this weather.
