I caught the tail end of the news before bedtime. Are masks or covering faces w/ anything mandatory or suggested if going to public places like grocery stores, drugstores, etc.? We have some that were mailed to us by our cousin, a dentist. Just wondering.

strongly suggested

wear when going out

you don't need a medical grade thing, just something covering your face--mouth and nose.

at the grocery yesterday just. about everyone had one.

but we are in the epicenter here,

i heard they are recomended. but not required by cdc. you have to contact your local folks to see if they are mandatory where you are.

I went to Aldi's yesterday morning, not many people but a couple of 'jerks' I'll say. They were not really paying attention to those around, a number of folks with some sort of mouth covering. I had on a turtleneck sweater that I pulled up over, it worked but we do have a couple of construction facemasks. I also have tons of scarves which one woman had on, looked kind of 'fashionable'. Anyway I have been wearing gloves, I can sport a mouth covering too.

Not many however at the Giant Eagle with masks.

I've said this before, for years and years and years we've seen on tv news, that Asians are always with masks for whatever reasons, they always wear masks even WAY before this happened.

CDC has recommended, but not mandatory.

However in my area (GA) many stores are now REQUIRING some sort of mask to enter their stores, including Home Depot.

Many are also NOT allowing children in their stores at all.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
