When you actually read the notice it says " a cloth mask may provide the wearer with some protection".  Not exactly conclusive scientific proof, but whatever.

@decaf ........CDC has been telling the world that masks do not keep you from getting anything, Covid included.  However, if you chose to believe it that is your prerogative.

@Imaoldhippie  That's your opinion. You should post the CDC pages that state that, if you want others to believe that.  I don't.

Re: MASKS IN MALL YESTERDAY!!

It's unfathomable so many in people in our country don't give a rat's arz about anything but themselves. I can't imagine myself saying "I won't wear a mask" if that small inconvenience would help save another human being's life and a family from heartbreak.  I'll never understand how we got this low.

And here we go yet again for the gazillionth time.  Yes, we're all selfish and don't care about others, etc, etc.

Re: MASKS IN MALL YESTERDAY!!

Whatever you believe about wearing masks or not wearing them, I have a loved one who has been in ICU since last week and today, they put him on a ventilatorl. He is in his 40's. Did not get vaccinated, was healthy till this.

Covid is still making the rounds, be careful. At my chiropractors today, the receptionist told me she knows two people right now who are on ventilators in an area hospital.

Where I am, we are hearing more about the vaccine than we are people getting sick. I think it has made us feel comfortable to not take as many precautions as we were, and besides that we are sick and tired of masking, social distancing and the whole nine yards of it. However, I am gonna do whatever the heck I can to not get it, even though I did get the shot.

@CrazyDaisy Now you're just deflecting, read their FIRST statement like I already said in my post.  I'll make it easy, it says

"WHEN YOU WEAR A MASK, YOU PROTECT OTHERS AS WELL AS YOURSELF".

You can take it up with the CDC if you disagree.  Bye.

Masks are still required where I live.  I've yet to go to a store that doesn't have a sign telling you to wear a mask.  And don't be fooled thinking you are safe just because you are fully vaccinated.  I'm vaccinated and just tested positive, having picked up the virus from a family member.  Sigh.

@Citrine1 @Hope you have no symptoms. Would you mind sharing which vaccine you have? If my question is bothering you in any way, pleae don't answer. I still wish for your speedy recovery.

When you only read headlines and not the whole story, you only get the drama.  Carry on.

@CrazyDaisy  I can't begin to imagine how you got to the point that you call the CDC website 'drama'.

Maybe you just visit these pages to cause a little controversy.
