@Tissyanne Thank you.  All went well with only one kitchen item broken. Movers are worth every penny.  Jason and I would never have been able to empty the old townhome with all the steps.  The movers make it look so easy.

I remember my first night after moving in my sister had made my bed.  I fell into that first night absolutely exhausted and felt the comfort of my bed.

Remember to make time to take breaks and breath.

Love youHeart

@lulutoby Most definitely one's bed feels the best.  We had to spend one night at a hotel and I have never slept on a bed so firm or sat on a couch that was so firm either.

@Sassy7356 , I hope all is going well with the move. We miss you here, but know you are very busy.

I have a beef stew in the pressure cooker, and am making cornbread to go with it. My DH is taking off work tomorrow, and we are looking forward to three days of bliss.

I had an appointment with my PCP this week. She ordered blood tests, and went over my MRI. I have a bone density, and cardiologist appointment next week.

Take good care.

@Tissyanne Our home and garage are full of boxes still to go through.  Mainly in the garage is holiday decor.  It takes up half of the garage.  Once I get done inside we will begin to tackle the garage.

Have you gotten any results yet from your various tests?

I hope you are enjoying your long weekend with DH.

7 Tips & Tricks to Make Moving Less Stressful | The Cliffs

The move is over and now the work of unpacking and downsizing begins.

It has been quite the week since last Monday.  It all started that day with my Mom falling.  She fell again on Wednesday and then again yesterday afternoon.  Today when I talked with her she could barely talk as my call had woken her from a sound sleep (I called at 2 pm).  Gracie went to the Pet Resort for three nights.  They said the first day she was shy but then a bundle of energy the remaining time.  She was so glad to see us.  I think she has explored every inch of her new home.  We closed on the old townhome and the new townhome.  The cable guy was here so Jason is all set to work on Monday.  I am tired of eating out and can't wait till we are back to cooking our own meals.

Also, my PCP thinks I should have a kidney ultrasound and possible see a hematologist about my blood.  I guess I am falling apart!

I found a new dog groomer and vet for Gracie.  Plus, I found a hair salon to do some blending of my hair.  All in this new town which we live in.  I have appointments for Gracie and myself at each.

Next week doesn't appear to slow down much.

Re: MARCH INTO SPRING

[ Edited ]

@Sassy7356

Happy you guys are in your new place even if it isn't all unpacked yet. My kitchen was way smaller when I moved here too. I have eliminated a lot of things that I don't use often but I could do with another cleansing. I tend to keep a lot of food on hand as I hate grocery shopping so pantry is full of food not leaving much room for appliances and plastic ware. It is great though when nieces stop over as they can always find food to put together a meal. And yes my port removal is scheduled for next Thursday unless my lung surgeon objects, I guess she didn't get the chest ct and they just sent for it and will check with me first of next week. Anyway my Sarah is planning on coming back to town from Kanas so I'll have someone to drive me home from Omaha hospital.
P.s. I hope they figure out why your mom is always falling. That sounds terrible!
