Good afternoon everyone, I had my second MRI this week. My DH gave me some good earplugs to wear, and they made this much more tolerable for me.
The test results are on my medical portal. I don't see anything that seems critical. I see my PCP on June 6th. She will discuss the results then.
We don't have plans for the weekend. Rain seems likely. We had nice thunder, and rain move through at 3:00 this morning.

@lulutoby wrote:@AnikaBrodie , I received my rollator today and will look forward to walking with it on the walking trail with a new dog soon. Thanks for sharing how much one has helped your DH.
Have yet to try it out and find my forever companion.
I'm glad you got a rollator and will soon welcome a new companion. Please be careful in learning the new rollator and make sure you apply the brakes whenever you stop. It can quickly roll away from you if you don't apply the breaks so be very careful about this. It's a great piece of equipment and will serve you well. When you get your new dog you may want to walk him/her on very short trips until he learns how to walk beside you at your command. Enjoy your new freedom with the walker.
Are you using the rollator indoors and outdoors? Ed is a fall risk and loses his balance a lot so he has doctor's orders to use it 24/7. And he does without question. It's within reach at all times.
Happy walking. Let us know how it works for you. Blessings.

We have a new visitor at our home. A robin is building her nest under the corner of our front porch roof. The last few days I couldn't understand why there were so many twigs on the porch. I found out why yesterday when the robin flew into the nest with a huge pack of twigs. I mean it was so large I was surprised she didn't lose them. Last night she almost flew right into me when approaching the nest. We can't see at this point if there are any blue eggs there. But soon I think ...
At this point the nest looks almost like the bottom photo. We also saw a robin swimming in our bird bath yesterday. Was it her? Probably ...

Wednesday afternoon I put a hummingbird feeder in our back yard (it gets a mix of sun and shade) and filled it to the top. It may take 2 weeks (per the Internet) for hummers to find it so I will clean and refill the feeder often. There are bee baum, butterfly bushes, petunias, day lilies, ground cover, rose bush, etc. close to the feeder. Once I see hummers I will add more feeders to the area. Several neighbors have their feeders out so we are hoping they come soon.

From Audubon:
Robins can raise up to three broods in one breeding season, each time laying 3-5 sky-blue eggs that take roughly 14 days to hatch. Female robins pick nesting sites tucked away in thickets or unexposed tree branches, but sometimes they nest on the ground or atop outdoor light fixtures, too. The birds use pieces of straw, twigs, and dry leaves to build cup-shaped nests, and add moss, mud, and sometimes feathers to mend and line the interiors.
