Do you tell your close girl friends that you love them?

I sign cards, with love....but have never really said to a girl friend, I love you.

I am more of a hugger.  I really don't throw those words around to easily....just curious!!

I really never thought about this before.

I just tell all the people in my life that I love them, when I sincerely do.

Was taught we only have today and not guaranteed tomorrow.

I sign my cards Love , we hug , and on some occasion I tell my closest gf I love her. We’ve know each other 32 years. My bff of 50 plus years died three years ago and we always said I Love You.

Maybe it is not easy for me because I did not have children and all my friends that have kids always end calls with I love you.

I tell my friends all the time, I love you! And vice versa. I really don't care for someone saying or writing, Love ya, it's like they're afraid to say I love you.

i have a sister and we have never said I love you to each other.  i say I love you to my mom and says love you too,  but even that is recent. she never expressed her love (if there was any ! )  when we were kids.    I don't say it to friends. hugs, yes.

I am blessed to have several really dear friends....and yes, we always say we love each other.

I do love them dearly and they need to know that......just as I do.

To be honest, "love" isn't a word I use lightly and casually.  I think native New Englanders are reserved in that way.   I do sign cards with "love" or "luv" but I don't say it to friends or family very much.  I show it in a million different ways I don't use the word a lot.  Other than with my grandbabies because they are babies.  I also don't go around hugging and kissing friends on a casual basis.
