Shouldn't we have learned by now, mature enough, to know all information is only as good as its source and some sources withhold crucial information we need to know; however, if we dig deeply enough by "researching" using known reliable sources, we may find out what they didn't want us to know.

That's rather elementary, don't you think?

What is the criteria for "known reliable sources?"

Would that be Google now a days?  LOL

Re: Lots Of Truth To This Statement.

I looked up the site on the OP picture. Full of anti police propaganda. I didn't see any truth to that statement. It's vaguely threatening to opposing viewpoints imo.
I could go into detail my opposing viewpoint but it's not allowed here either.

@Midmod no, I don't jest.
Do I need a super secret decoder ring to get the answer?

Re: Lots Of Truth To This Statement.

I love learning and even though I am older,  I still learn new things.  I do research when I don't understand something, want to fact check, or just out of curiosity .  I have common sense, intelligence and wisdom to know the difference between fact and fiction.  It isn't difficult to know a lie or tall tale and not have to research it.  I'll leave it at that.

@paixmcdao

It's like anything you want to know about. "Research" the subject. "How to tell a source is reliable, telling the truth, withholding information?"

I would say that this was a profound statement if it weren't for the fact that in today's world, the definition of "Ignorant People" is usually applied to those who don't share

@781Florist

Yes, "Ignorant People" is often used to mean stupidity, low IQ.

Actually, it means lacking knowledge and awareness.

@Midmod

Just to be clear, I am not anti-police!

I think a few here are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I suppose the statement on the photo could be taken in several ways.  How you interpret it vs how I do says a great deal about us as individuals.

For me, it's all about learning, knowledge, how those who know and speak intelligently about a subject can be confusing to those who don't. It's an incentive to learn as much as we can about numerous subjects.  Never once did I think this could be identified with the anti-police movement.  Still can't.

I know there are a few who look up my memes to see where they come from.  I don't look them up.  I take them at face value.  It's what I see without that influence. There are no credits from those who post them on social media. Usually, no comments other than what's posted on the photo.
