@qvcaddition- It is sunny here but chilly.  Today will remain the 50s.  We have So Cal Gas and they raise their rates when it gets cold. Use the heat, no need to be uncomfortable

I had a Dennis basso coat, it was very warm.  I wish I had it today.

We are fortunate to have shelter.

I have been reluctant to post this and will get right to the point.

Often when people speak of personal emotional pain we feel compelled to offer advice, but actually what is needed is just to be heard, someone to walk quietly with us, not judging, not advising.

You weren't judgemental at all.  I felt you were very kind and compassionate towards her.  

There are a few other posts that were very harsh, in my opinion.  I think that's what's shied TennisBuff away from here.  

I felt very badly for her.  She was in a bad position as far as finding a place to live and I hope she has found somewhere at the very least that's she's comfortable with.

It is common to want to offer advice to the grieving and depressed. I have done it myself. I now try to check myself and mostly try to "companion".

Thank you.  I tried to help her, but I agree with you, about her reading other post, just a few that made her leave.

Read the post that Lucky charm wrote about me being very kind.  Some post, just a few were not and I think that is why she left.

I always try to be positive, but she did not want that. I went as far as I could, but it was for a professinal to help.  I would continue, but she didn't like the critical post.

I like helping people not negative responses.
