My TV guide says they are airing the Farm Aid concert from 2025.  I would love to see the Live Aid one.

I'll check it out if I remember.

It's Farm Aid. With the tremendous increase in prices of everything, our farmers are finding it hard to stay afloat.

I will be watching and making a contribution at the same time I support my local farmers and farm stands. Thank goodness we still have access to safe food through our farm neighbors.

• Started in 1985: The Farm Aid concert was first organized by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Neil Young in Champaign, Illinois.

• Missing Years: In the early years, the festival did not happen every calendar year. There were no standalone major Farm Aid festivals in 1988, 1991, 1995, 1996, or 1999.

• The 1989 Tour: Instead of a single festival in 1989, Willie Nelson took Farm Aid on the road across 16 U.S. cities during his own tour.

• Annual Tradition: Since 2000, a Farm Aid concert has taken place every single year, marking its 40th anniversary in 2025 and continuing with Farm Aid 2026 in Virginia Beach.

The concert moves to a different city or state each year rather than staying in one permanent venue.

Willie Nelson brings Farm Aid to the Oceanfront

The headline event is Farm Aid, landing at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater on Saturday, Sept. 26 — the first time the benefit has come to Virginia Beach in its four decades.

The bill is deep. We watched quite a bit of it. Willie looked so frail, but very good to see and hear him, he's committed to this cause.  I wonder if Dolly would've been there, too.😪
