Please tell the hosts and guests to stop saying "literally" all the time. What does that even mean? The word can be omitted entirely. Also, "Ive got" is so wrong grammatically, and it sounds horrible. Some hosts and guests are more guilty of this than others. Please, try not to kill the English language by saying these things. Thanks.

Tell the individuals on their FB. No one here can tell them.

@Fifweg I don't feel the hosts and guests will "kill the English language" by saying those two things.

@Fifweg Literally means something is actually happening, which makes it unlikely merchandise is flying out the door.
Virtually means it's seemingly happening but, in reality, is not.
Yes, literally is often misused. "Virtually" would be more appropriate to use in most cases.

Sure glad I learned in the United States Army, when I was 18.5 years old, this factor, in addition to how my mother raised me. Don't occupy any of your conscious brain power with things you cannot control.
Practiced this most of my life and and thought and acted pretty much on the things which I can control. Might be why not too many things cause stress in my. Life comes along with the good and the bad for everyone.
It's not "poor me/why me", it's how you handle the things you have to confront. In my world, words people use on non-stop talking shows, or how they construct sentences on these forums?
Those that let little things like this bother them. Life must be a very tough journey.

@hckynutjohn You had a very smart mother! My husband was in the army and had the same attitude.
I think when the little things multiply especially now and are causing stress with some people.
I do Tai Chi daily and stress disappears. (Like skating)!

Thank you. My mother raised myself and my 3 older sisters by herself. She knew the ways of life, and did all should could to instill that in all 4 of us. Only 1 sister remains and she turned 88 last month. Still has 2 horses and maintains and rides them.
She also is a Master in Tai Chi and still teaches classes, I believe now, once a week. It is just not for me, but her and her clients get a lot out of it, and that's all that counts.
I agree, a lot of things happening in almost everyone's lives these days. Would say many of them are beyond the majority of people's control. The ones I see on the news and real life are things beyond my control. A couple of them I can address at ballot boxes when those times roll around, but who knows if that would change anything, not me.
Have a great happy and healthy 2022,
