Wow, what a beautiful country! I guess being from the great, rugged Northwest I appreciate that kind of landscape.

i visited there a couple of years ago and it is indeed a beautiful and fascinating country.

Me too!  I think Asia--especially southeast Asia--has some of the most beautiful places on the planet but it's politically unstable enough (plus the heat and humidity) that I wouldn't feel safe.

My co-worker and friend is from So. Korea.  I've seen pictures and it is indeed a beautiful and scenic country.

I have travelled extensively when I was young - my first husband's job took us all over the world. SE Asia is indeed beautiful. However,  considering the unstable state of the world and the feelings many people around the world have toward Americans at this time, I think right now is a very good time to just stay within the borders of the good ole USA. There is little to see out there that is worth dying for. Plus there is little to do that can't be done somewhere in the USA. You can experience many various cultures right here with in our country.
