My DS! Amazing man. Wonderful Husband, Father you get the idea. Last year purchased second home. Fixer-upper! Brings me to now. Incredible what he's done. Kitchen cabinets as with the bathroom cabinets refurbished changed the entire look. The care shown not exaggerating unbelievable. Preparation! Removing doors, sanding tedious process, making sure smooth. Washing properly priming and painting. He has income hire construction company. In the end like with other projects chose doing himself. He is everything parent wants their child to be. Tonight Father/ Daughter school dance. Time moves quickly! Who knows time left. Grateful to be alive, experiencing joyous occasion. Haha! Reads like Hallmark card. Thanks for putting up with me.😄

This sounds like a fell good moment. So if I use the word cabinet I won't be deleted.

I just want to share my fell good moment. Last night my 92 year old aunt called me to thank me for her Christmas card. We are blessed to own her mothers, ( my grandmother's ) farm where she was raised. I found an old photo of the farm looking out toward the out buildings, barn, coal shed, tack house, wood working shed etc covered with 18 inches of snow. I had Christmas cards made of this and sent them to the usual people. " She was so thrilled to see her mother's farm and the ability to show her family where she had  so many happy memories ". She is going to frame her card.

Her call has made me so happy. Just wanted to share my happiness.

You were a wonderful Mamma, who raised a wonderful son.  He walked in your footprints to get where he is today.  You should be proud.

Yes,you have reason to be proud. I think it makes sense when buying a fixer upper to do much of the work yourself.
