Karma is just another word for revenge and that isn’t my place. It’s up to a higher power so I leave that alone

I only witnessed cheating in school. I often wonder if cheating continued to help those 'high achievers'. While working in the same office for 37 years, there were some pretty bad bosses, but eventually they were fired or demoted.

No, it's not. It's akin to "you reap what you sow" which is a natural law.

There also is good karma.

I have experienced good karma, maybe just coincidences or just plain good luck.

I have also observed instances of unwelcomed karma which took place many years later.

Sort of 'We reap what we soe' types of karma.

Well, all we can do is to take the high road and be kind and helpful to others.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Karma is the opposite of revenge.

It's trusting that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. It's trusting that the powers that be will right the wrong.

I just thought of this.......

If we train a dog to be mean-ish, it might eventually turn on us and bite us, maybe even many years later.

When we train a dog to be kind and nice, it will continue to reward us and will be our friend, even many years later.

So, often times karma might eventually

appear.

Just a thought that popped into my mind.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I think Karma is just a way of saying there are consequences (good and bad) for the things we say and do.

Bad things eventually come back to bite someone.

Good things bear fruit and joy for the person and others around them.

I look at karma as being a natual response. You can choose to do good or evil. Whatever you say and do has a natural response, a la karma.

Another thought:

If we train our children to be non-caring, maybe not-so-nice, then eventually, when we are elderly, they just might treat us the same way as we taught them.

Thus, 'karma'.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
