I wasn't bullied in school or at work.

I've never tried to mistreat or hurt anyone, not because I'm saintly, but  because in my family manners and personal honor were primary, they were what matter, they were what was valued.

NASTY people are only getting back...WHAT THEY DISHED OUT.

Their choice...nothing spiritual about it.

I was bullied and run into a couple on occasion. They act like I'm their best friend. Weird. I just go with it and move on.

Mean people exist. I've always wondered what happened to make them mean. Still, I avoid them like the plague.

To All - I am not dwelling on the past and the bullies and stalkers. I was just wondering what happend to those mean and disturbed folks.

I don't recall them but something brought up a memory of them from the past.

I know that others were pleased that the mean girls' home buned down.  She had been awful for years and years in the past.

@Puzzle Piece  I have found in my 78 years, the few who did taunt me never turned out as well lol!    . Either that,or like one bully  I knew was clueless.  They didn't remember (I didn't bring it up),and they seemed to have amnesia.   I believe every one has their days in the sun. Everyone has that 15 minutes of fame so to speak.  It even seems like those who were popular in school, weren't so much after high school.  Many of the girls or guys who teased and bullied in school, grew up to being the swans and more successful. I believe Karma good, or bad..finds you. We know not where or when, but it will get you when you least expect it.  Jmho

Karma to me is 'what goes around comes around,' your actions, whether good or bad, eventually return to you as consequences.

In 2019, I was on FMLA for 1 month because my mother was dying. I was her caregiver. When I returned to work after her death, I got written up by my boss. I had been at the company x 38 years with no issues. I rebutted part of the write up because he was trying to make me commit Medicare Fraud. I notified compliance and 8 weeks after my mother died, I got fired from my job.

Those 2 losses together almost killed me. I became depressed. I found a new job but with a big pay and benefit cut. I had to start over at 61 years old.

I sued the company for wrongful termination. The FMLA leave and my Whistleblowing put me into a protected class. We had a strong case for wrongful termination. My case ended favorably for me in November of 2023.

Just recently, I heard that my ex boss and his co-conspirator both had their jobs eliminated. It did cross my mind that they got what they deserve but I pray for their salvation. I would not want to be like those hateful people and meet my maker.

I am Catholic and went to confession because I had thoughts about them deserving it. I know how it feels except I got no severance pay and he tried to fight my unemployment benefit

My thought on this is that we are all here to learn.

I think we are in one giant classroom in which some of us come to school with "baggage" that causes us to behave in ways that cause pain and suffering to not only others, but ourselves.

Maybe you've heard of an IEP for school children?  It's an Individual Educational Plan for kids that need extra instruction/help.  Customized for them according to their abilities/handicaps.

I think we all are on an IEP in this and future lives.

Training for a future I'm sure we can't imagine!

So, in my opinion...karma is probably part of the learning process.  Cause and effect aren't necessarily seen, like your tormentor's house burning down.  In fact, that may not have been related to who that person was in this lifetime, but maybe another.

Agree; absolutely!
