This was from a story I was reading in RD. Short story.
Little girl wanted to run away in protest of her bedtime. Made me remember I never felt that way even with my little sister. She was an older sister in the story.
However, at some point in her early years, my little sister (I think it had to do with not as many baby pictures), thought she was adopted. Now for some reason to her at that age, I guess she thought that was bad. (They said she was dramatic when young).
She was the one who did walk barefoot through the black stuff on the floor where dad was going to put tiles down and walked across the wood bedroom floors. Oh my!! She was the one who decided crayons were needed for coloring some of her baby pictures. I think she's the one (or my brother) who did a 1/2 body through the floor register into the kitchen. Ah childhood.............how'd we ever live through it?! LOL
Do you have a childhood story or stories you want to share?

@qualitygal I have so many stories, my brother and I are exactly 1 year and 7 days apart, and being the younger of the two I am surprised I lived through his abuse!
One of the funniest ones though was we were playing Cowboys & Indians (I know not politically correct now) and I was the Indian, well my brother captured me and tied me to a tree (tight rope so no way to escape) and then he burst out laughing and walked away, he literally walked away and left me tied up. I stood there, and stood there, and stood there, he yelled through the window at one point something about how did it feel to be tied up not able to escape, he laughed again but this laugh was an evil laugh, and he left again.
I do not know how long in reality I was tied up, but my Dad came home and waved, and I just stood there, I did not want to get my brother in trouble so I stood there, finally my Dad must have figured out something was up as he walked over and asked me what I was doing, so I told him we were playing Cowboys and Indians and I was the Indian and I was captured so Steve tied me up. He asked me how long I had been tied up and where was my brother, I told I did not know how long, but Steve had gone into the house.
My Dad untied me and I never went into the house to find out what happened to my brother, let us just say that Dad was not very happy!
Knowing my brother, if my Dad had not come home when he did, I would still be tied up to that tree, LOL!

@CareBears, Oh my gosh, that was funny. I'm afraid my sister and I got my poor little brother into trouble too. He so trusted us. But I think we only did it once, you know why! LOL
