@viva923   I mean this sincerely - not being a royal smart a**.  It's probably not helping that you expect a high reading because that darn new BP monitor stressed you out yesterday.  I know it's easier said than done... please don't let this new BP get your pressure up.  You have been doing good with current meds and exercise and the old BP cuff.  Personally, I'd lay off taking my BP for the rest of the day.  Start fresh tomorrow.

Boy was I busy today.  It was in the 40's this morning and is 67 degrees right now (4:15 pm EST).  I had a 10 am oil change appointment at the dealership.  I got there 10 minutes early.  One service advisor on site and cars a plenty waiting to get in.  Didn't get checked in until 10:30 am.  I walked about a mile to get to some stores and I picked up some crew socks from Meijers, walked to PetSmart because it had been forever since I went to one of those and Home Depot for a new hose nozzle and a couple of feet of stainless steel chain.  Then I popped into Joann Fabrics and then headed back.  I get back to the dealership at noon and see my car in the parking lot.  I know it's done and I ended up having to wait until 12:45 pm until the guy got to me and checked me out.

Here's the kicker - it was a free oil change.  So it's not like they were waiting on payment for me.  Honestly I need to check out youtube to find out exactly how hard it is to change my own oil.

It's about 72 degrees right now and it's overcast and windy outside.  It's supposed to get hot again tomorrow (85) and a great thing about being a retiree is that I'll be able to get outside tomorrow morning and cut the grass before it gets hot.

I didn't feel like being in the wind today and we are expecting nearly a week of rain (well 60% chance or higher) starting on Friday (assuming the radar is right) so I have to get the grass tomorrow.

On the bright side, rain is a good thing, my area of the state is kind of low to moderate drought.  On the not so bright side, they are talking about 2-3 inches of rain and potential flooding.  The weather people must see something coming because they are suggesting the drought around me will be resolved some time this weekend with all that rain.

Geez, I hope I don't take in rain water in the basement.

Hello, I'm late getting to the Back Fence.  I did light grocery shopping this morning then came home and had some toast and coffee.  I cut the grass in the front and backyards and I am glad I got it done today.  No joke, we have rain in the forecast 60-80% chances most days starting on Friday June 25 through July 3rd

@birdmama @viva923  It is different throughout the day, just as weight.  I have two blood pressure cuffs, one or both are arm, can't remember, but think the other is a wrist, and since the remodeling four years ago, I can't find either, and am not about to buy another, lol.  If we ever move, I will find so many items that have been missing.
