Well, I don't know that I would go that far @DSD2   For now, the problem is solved.  I'm gonna make sure I pick up at least one spare deck post from Menards.  It was nothing short of miraculous to find a post in the diameter I needed.  It wasn't expensive and you never know.

You did a great job on the fence.. " The clowns" should have hired you. jk. It really looks nice. I know I couldn't have done it. I am horrible at measuring things accurately.

Somewhere in the neighborhood people are shooting off fireworks. So obviously I can't sleep. Good thing I took a nap earlier or it would be a rough time to get up for church in the morning. 

If I don't post in the next couple of days, I hope you have a nice 4th of July. I will be spending the day at my DD and SIL and grandson and with my youngest son.
