Does anyone remember Juliana Rancic? I'm wondering just how she became a TV personality. Personally, I couldn't stand her. But she keeps appearing on the Red Carpet! Just what does she do?

I'm not exactly sure where or how she got her start. I just know she does red carpet interviews for E, does the Fashion Police TV show and has a clothing line on HSN.

btw...her name is spelled Giuliana.

I'm not a fan of hers, however she must be popular with many since she has been on the " E " channel for many years. For my money they could do away with the " Fashion Police " altogether.

Apparently, she started on E News with Ryan Secrest. I don't know why Joan choose her to be on Fashion Police. Maybe she covered galas for E News and they connected there.

I knew her husband Bill from Celebrity Apprentice. He won the first season (I think it was the first?). The show originally started as a competition to get a job within the Trump Company. He won and got the job, but he was not married at that point. Now the show is not for a job, they play for charity money.

I watch E!, and knew Guliana as a E! news person, but not much else.

They both sort of got famous when they became a couple. Not sure what happened with Bill's job. I think the prize was a job for a year, but he obviously left that job. And not even sure how they became celebrities?

I know Bill wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and open a restaurant. G was an LA girl, so Bill stayed in LA but spent the week in Chicago building his dream. Now I believe he has 2 restaurants, in Chicago.

Another couple that are famous "just because"???

I like both of them, I just think they are a normal everday couple who are not really celebrities. Of course, being a celebrity is a loosely tossed around term nowadays. There are more non-celebs than there are "earned it" celebs in Hollywood now.
