Well, almost.  I can't wait any longer.  Highs won't be in the 90 anymore (maybe).  We will be going to our granddaughter's final performance for the year.  She is over the band's percussion section and plays many instruments in that section (as well as the piano and flute).  She is her momma's daughter     

We had a wonderful birthday dinner last night at a place called The Mighty Crab.  It was our daughter's birthday (today).  I had two lbs of snow crab.  I didn't eat anything else (no carbs).  My sweet hubby cracked all of them for me since my hands are tender.  Then we all met at Braums for icecream.  It's Fall so that means gingerbread icecream!

Our temperatures took a nosedive last night and hit 32* (about 7:00 am) which made my furnace kick on for the first time this fall. I had all new windows installed on the lower level, which is keeping the house much more comfortable already.

My husband and I had all new windows installed 36 years ago. Amazing the difference in 36 years. These windows (same brand) are fabulous against the Nebraska wind. I hesitated on that purchase, but am pleasantly pleased.

Thanks!  I guess we don't have WaWa here.  I've never heard of it.  I've been drinking Starbuck's coffee with Pumpkin Spice creamer and Peppermint Mocha creamer.  The coffee in their stores is too strong for me.  I buy the ready to drink 32oz bottles from WM.  They have Blonde, Med and Dark roasts.

Oh and the BIGGIE for this part of the country is super low humidity.  A couple of days ago it was 21%  What????  Inside has been in the mid to high 30% humidity.  My face is feeling every bit of it but that's ok, I'll just use more hydrating and moisturizing products.  I think I'll be sleeping with my north bedroom window open in the next couple of days.  As you can tell, it's super exciting for the weather FINALLY changing.

Windows continue to become more and more insulating.  Makes a huge difference.  NE...I love that part of the country.  32 degrees.  Lucky you

@monicakm  - Your makeup sounds fabulous and bet you looked great!   This morning, I went to put on an Urban Decay brown eyeliner - Bourbon - and it had sparkles in it!   Ugh.  Don't want a brown eyeliner with sparkles.  Just want a brown - not to light or to dark - eyeliner with no sparkles.
