If I was unsure if we were having a little ‘un or not and one of my kittehs over the years was with me (watching TV in bed for example), oftentimes animals will feel the vibrations or hear the ground or the building move a second or two before humans feel it, or if it’s very small, before humans feel it.
There have been times when out of the blue, from relaxed sleep, a kitteh shot off the bed into the other room like they were shot out of a cannon. More scary than the quake, lol.
