The problem just started now for me. I've cleared the browser and cookies, restarted the computer, but still it isn't working. Any suggestions? Thanks. I'm using an Acer chromebook.

@newjersey I thought AOL died out last century. Anywho, contact AOL customer support which is still alive.

I just sent myself an email on AOL and received it within 45 seconds.
You may need to download an update.
AOL EMAILS very much exist, with millions of active accounts and it's my primary email account.
It's AOL internet dial-up that was phased out.

My AOL is working fine and I am on an Acer as well.

@Mz iMac AOL is alive and working and has not died! It, continues, to have a large number of subscribers.

Both my sisters and I have had AOL emails going back to the 1990s.
I understand it's a common habit to sign up and use an email that is also used by others you know, so problems can be solved more easily with friends or family.

I also have AOL email, and yes, I pay for it, but it is very secure and private as compared to other sources, and rarely has glitches or space problems.
I use three other types of email, some for work, and I always prefer AOL for my personal use--very easy to manage.

I have AOL email but I haven't paid for it for over 2 decades.

There are always those who like to diss AOL, but it was the first and I only wish I'd bought stock in it "a century ago".
We still use it as our primary email provider and have no intention of changing unless AOL suddenly decides to shut down.
(And, yes, we have other providers like Yahoo and Gmail. We're not dinosaurs. We just see no reason to give up a longstanding provider that still works perfectly well.)
Having spent a career in I.T. I always laugh at those who dismiss the forerunners as "old-fashioned", prehistoric or out-of-date.
