One of my favorite flowers. And, like several others, they remind me of my mother. She had them growing at the edge or our yard. I don't ever remember her planting or tending them, yet they grew like weeds.

Despite my best efforts, I never got any to grow in my yard. Mostly, clay soil and deer that eat anything.

They are just floral perfection no matter what color they are. Yours are stunning!

Im surprised the deer haven't been into these yet, knock on wood. In the past, I've had to put wire around to keep them out.

I love irises and these photos are beautiful. There is one iris that's just getting ready to bloom on the property I live on. So pretty. Thanks for the photos.
