I bought my son the 3 in 1 Big Easy Tru Infared from HSN and he and his family all love it. It is a smoker, grill and roaster all in one and uses infared heat among other sources. They did a fried turkey last year for Thanksgiving and he said it was fab, Didn't need all the oil either which made it much healthier than when actually submerged in oil. Brand is Char-Broil which is an excellent brand for outdoor cooking appliances. For all it does, not a bad price either and they have it on flex pay. Check it out on HSN's website and see what you think.

My last good little grill was infrared no drip no flame ups. I received a bigger grill as a gift and it flames up as is not infrared. I am going to look for the plates to out in this grill and really wish I had my infrared grill back.

We had the Charbroil infrared grill and it was great! Only problem is the grates are not that easy to keep clean, and the replacements are about as much as the grill. So we ditched it and bought a new grill. But hubby did not get the infrared, he went back to the regular one.
I personsally thought the food tasted better. I guess the whole grate thing was too much of a nuisance.

I also have this one. Very new to it. Like it a lot. Always had a charcoal grill and so new to propane. Now I'm a convert.
HSN has videos so check that out. They usually have the best price around Father's Day every year. The usual price is good anyway.
The grill is really easy to lean. It's a round piece that fits on top. I can put it in my sink. Nothing sticks to it so far.
I'm getting a probe thermometer for this so I can monitor temps better for the smoker/roaster part. I did ribs in the basket and they cooked too fast. They were good anyway, but not as tender as when I cook in the oven. I had lid closed. I'm exploring youtube for videos on this grill. Getting some good tips and ideas.
Looking forward to doing a turkey and chicken in the basket.
Good Luck!
