Any one know how to find a phone number of the Post Office ?

When I call my local one they won't give me the number of the one in a bigger city just refer me to the Toll Free # which is worthless.

I went online, went thru the phone books.  If anybody can tell me how to find the phone number for ANY Amarillo, Tx post offices I will be grateful.

Only reason I have the local # of the small city I live in is because when I moved here my real estate agent gave me one of those Welcome sheets.

@SharkE

Try Googling "local phone number Amarillo Texas post office".

Scroll down the page to the individual entries and you should see several Amarillo post office addresses and their local contact phone numbers, along with the local numbers for passports.

Hope that helps.

@SharkE

If you google United States Post Office, Amarillo, TX., you should receive a list of several post offices in that city.

I just googled and got a list but it will not let me copy and paste the info.

So I'm assuming your package is sitting at the larger post office and hasn't been transferred to your local post office.

I've seen the number of packages that need to be sorted at a smaller post office and now magnify that by at least 10.

That's the problem with this "cheap" postage route, nothing is moving and I waited an entire week to get a package out of a smaller post office.

I think the Q needs to renegotiate their rates with UPS and let the post office fend for themselves but I just order less.

I wouldn't trust any mail service in Texas for a while.

Particularly if Houston is a hub.

I know Amarillo is north, but still.......

I'm in the process of calling that number now not answering, but, it's not 9 yet either Central time. I'll call in few minutes and see if I hit pay dirt.

Thanks !

Should be easy to find . I know they don't want to be bothered by the public, but, shoot, it's a Gov. office !

You assume right. QVC tracking number said it had been in amarillo since the 24th, local post office told me it's probably sitting on a pallet in the bigger city. Couldn't find the # to any Amarillo post offices, got in the car and drove there, they said QVC never mailed it because they couldn't see where it ever hit "the mailstream".

so, I just came home and told CS to refund to credit card.

I don't know if it was mailed in first place ?????

Made me mad I had to drive into the city because of no phone number was available, so, now, I'm gonna find me a phone number ! LOL

Called couple of numbers they won't answer.

I'll try off and on thru out the day.

some of the comments on those pages are out of this world of people dealing with the post office. One girl was made to cry, one person was hired and quit after one day for lack of training.

that place is a mess !
