Didn't you always feel comforted when he was on?Heart

My children grew up watching this wonderful program and its positive lessons. I got a lot from it too! I have a “Be Kind” magnet on my fridge right now.

Absolutely.  I grew up in the Pittsburgh area.  Mr. Rogers was a big part of my childhood. Today the movie comes out and I am going.

@Mombo1   I have reserved seating for the 4PM show today. If only Mr. Rogers was on tv now, the kid's would have such a better image of themselves and maybe a lot less "trouble" we'd all be dealing with.

I grew up with Mr.Rogers and loved that my daughter was able to also enjoy him.

For the first 4 years of my son’s life this was the only show I let him watch. I was a sahm and had the time to teach him Pre-K skills so we didn’t watch shows like Sesame Street. But Mr. Rogers really addressed the topic of kids’ feelings. And he modeled manners and respect for others. So every day that we were home when the show came on, son watched it. Such valuable lessons.

My GD loved Daniel Tiger which is this generation of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.  I enjoyed watching with her -- always some positive message.

I'll never forget how excited she was "waiting" for Daniel Tigers mom to have her baby and how well the show introduced Daniels new baby to the family.

Of course, who didn't love Trolley or Mr. McFelly the mailman🙂
