@Rose429

I wonder why yours was so high with Humana?

I don't know about all this.  We were comfortable

using our drug store's "ins card" or GoodRx.  DH feels like we will meet the deductible but without actually adding it all, I'm not sure yet.

The Humana Value Rx Plan (PDP) is a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan known for low costs, often featuring $0 copays/deductibles for lower-tier drugs (Tiers 1 & 2) at preferred pharmacies, potentially low premiums, and a strong focus on generics, making it a budget-friendly option, especially for those needing common medications, though its comprehensiveness for higher-tier drugs can vary and member satisfaction ratings are average. It offers broad pharmacy networks, including CenterWell and select retailers like Walmart, and benefits from the new 2026 $2,100 out-of-pocket cap for all covered drugs.

Quality Ratings: Humana's overall quality ratings are average.

Tomorrow is the last day.  I better make some phone calls to make sure this is what we want.

Yes, those two drugs are very pricey.  I don't remember the exact price with Humana but it was still pricey.  I think one refill of each would meet the deductible of $600.  Oh wait, no it wouldn't.  I think the deductible is $600 for each??

 As long as they were very transparent about the formulary coverage and you are good with manufacturer potentially withdrawing.  Part D will give both of you some protection.

@Still Raining Just know that they can change their formulary at will.  They aren't locked into what they publish for open enrollment.  Ain't that grand.

@CalminHeart  My response should have been directed at you.

@monicakm so what did you decide to do?  Call again, keep it, cancel it and go without for another year?
