Re: How to deal with a friend issue

Actually, I think your response was a little harsh, since you already knew about her behavior the last time. Maybe I'd have said something about being a little tired and needing to rest before my husband came home to tell him. I'd thank her for her concern, provide her with a few details of my visit, and move on to a new topic.

Re: How to deal with a friend issue

@haddon9   I also had a friend who was "concerned about me" if I didn't answer a text in what she considered to be an appropriate amount of time.

I ended the friendship.

There are certain things I have very strong boundaries about and putting "pressure" on me to conform to another person's expectations is one I won't compromise on practicing.

Re: How to deal with a friend issue

@haddon9 ....................You must be very important to your friend.  While its annoying its just that your friend seems genuinely concered about you.  This is just something you may have to overlook if you value her friendship.

Just be honest with her tell her your views and ask that you both accept each others quirks.

Personally I think you are very lucky to have such a friend.
