As I watch things like the inauguration with all those people in seats or standing for the parade, or IN the parade, or protesters marching, or even people at large rock concerts outside…I can’t help but wonder how they go that long without needing a bathroom. I would not last 2 hours…add the cold and/or rain or snow and I would not last one hour. There are many thousands of people who seem to be blessed with a far better bladder than I have. I am jealous!

There are thousands of port a potties around.

The folks in the stands/grandstands go inside the building to "conduct business."

Yes, I know exactly what you are saying and have thought the same thing many times. I'm an organ donor on my driver's license, but if someone ends up with my bladder they are definitely going to feel like they got ripped off! Ha!!!!!!!!

I have always hated crowds so you would never find me at any well attended event. I never wanted to see or cared enough about any thing or anyone to deal with crowds.

There are porta potties where at the New Year's Eve celebrations in Times Square there are none.
