I live in Illinois and it was too hot and dry for me.  I love to have beautiful floral gardens here at home and have worked so hard this year to keep everything nice.  Have spent lots of time and money watering!!

Have not been able to get out as much as I would of liked as I just don't do too good when it's hot and humid.  It really slows me down.

It's now mid September and I would of hoped that things would of changed, but our temperatures are still above normal and we're continuing to have no rain.  Honestly, the last time we had a really good rainfall dates back to mid June.

I know some will say enjoy the heat as winter's cold is not too far away, but for me, as long as we don't get much snow - I will have no complaints about the cold!

Also, I never thought I would say this - but I'm getting tired of seeing the sun every single day.  Once in awhile, a cloudy day is nice - it just seems a little more restful on those days - and in the summer, cooler!

@BunSnoop   Could not agree more!!! I live in Chicago and I know I'll regret saying this but I'm tired of the warm temps--still in the 80s in mid September when it should be low 70s.  And I also agree I have no problems with winter and the cold temps--actually prefer it-as long as there's no snow!!

Looking forward to changing my closets and wearing sweaters and corduroys!!!

I also live in illinios.central illinios.i detest our summers here, because of the heat and humidity.i love colorful flowers on my patio, but I end up over watering them, due to the heat.i do much better in cold weather, other than when a mouse sneaks in.i totally freak out.they scare me so much.

I do like warm weather (not too hot though) but this year I’m really looking forward to the cooler fall weather.   I just hope we don’t go from air conditioning one day to furnace weather the next with no true fall weather in between.

I live in southeast Florida and have summer all year long and love it. I was born in Chicago and lived there and the surrounding suburbs for 65 years. I left in December 2018 and will never miss near life ending experiences in blizzard and ice storms. I must say that as I got closer to leaving Illinois, I was very depressed because it was frequently cloudy, winter or summer, and bright sunny days were far and few in between. I suppose I will take a beating for my feelings but I do respect the choices of others.

My sister and I were just talking about the weather this afternoon. We both live in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh. It's still hot and humid here. The next week is still going to be in the low to mid 80' s. We are more than ready to be in the high 60's or low 70's. Although I have to say that's been our pattern here the last couple years. We don't have much Fall weather. It's hot then it's cold. I'm really hoping for a couple weeks of Autumn.🍁

@NEvans2   My brother lives in the Pittsburgh area too...near Delmont.  I originally lived in Monroeville.  We "check in " every weekend and always compare the weather..I am currently in NE Pa.  We love the fall season and hope it comes soon.  This past summer was just too hot and humid for both of us.   Hopefully the weather will turn cool soon so we can bring out our Steeler sweatshirts.   🤗

@BunSnoop   My summer has been hot, hotter and hottest yet.  Can't wait for November 30th to come.  That marks the official end of hurricane season.  Even after 61 years, the summers keep getting hotter and the hurricanes keep getting numerous and stronger.

We had a hot summer with more 90 plus days than ever before.  We didn't get much rain until the second half of August.  I'm not complaining.   Were having a normal September with Temps in the mid to high 70s but Today is 60ish.  They are predicting 80s next week which will be nice.  I'll take all the warm weather I can get for as long as se get it.   I'm not s fan of winter anymore.
