Re: 💰How Do You Get The Best Sales And Deals?

@butterfly123 I check out the online retailers that offer a "deal of the day".  Lowes, Home Depot and Best Buy have deals of the day where there are some great buys.

You can really save some $$ if they have something you need.  Smart thermostats, batteries, flashlights, ceiling fans, etc... are items that I have purchased and pick up in store.

Of course, retail me not and ebates too.

Does anyone know of retailers that have a deal of the day besides the home shopping channels and the ones I mentioned above?  Please share.

Ebates,  love it because it's so easy and I can't ever forget.  No signing in or anything like that.  I shop and Ebates gives me my discount.

@CAcableGirl2

LLBean has two deals of the day. One at 6:00am and the other at 2:00pm EST. Also a daily markdown. They are listed under the sale tab.

@lolakimono deserves credit for passing along this info to me.

I have found the AAA and AARP "discounts" not to be discounts at all; the same price anyone else can get; very token just like the military discounts are.

I forgot to mention that Lowes now gives a military discount of 10% for those that qualify.  If you have a Lowes credit card, you can get 5% discount, but I don't believe they can be combined.

Re: 💰How Do Find The Best Sales And Deals?

I am not a shopper; I would rather scrub toilets or clean ovens than have to go to a store and shop for something.   I order most of the items I stock up on and do my very best to stay out of stores, period.

Food and basic supplies are the main expenses here.   Our medications and supplies come by mail, so I am lucky not to see the inside of a pharmacy very often.

A coupon has to be really special for me to remember to take it with me to a store.

If I need something, I just buy it.  I won’t even drive out of my local area to buy cheaper gas.
