Re: Home after knee replacement

That's wonderful that recovery is going so well. I, too, had my knees replaced. No problem what do ever, and the best decision ever. I CAN WALK!!!

I would have eventually been completely unable to walk had I decided not to do it. I believe it adds years to your life because you're able to move around. I would opt to just sit all the time because I just couldn't walk very far.

My insurance covered 30 PT visits and I did every one. My knees are perfect now,  and yours will be as well.

Good luck and I hope for a continued good outcome. Marathon here we come. 😂😂😂😂😂

Re: Home after knee replacement

Ditzidori (love the name), I think you hit the nail on the head. If I hadn’t had this surgery, not only would my workouts be gone but my ability to walk would be gone too. I was already limping significantly before surgery and could not get out of bed without saying a few four letter words. I know this is a long recovery but I’m making progress and will be in this for the long haul.

@Vivian

I am glad to read you finally had your surgery and all went well.  You have so much on your plate; let others take care of you.

I probably shouldn't tell you but while you were having surgery, I was in (your beloved) Paris.
