@hullie wrote:Finished cleaning my house today. Getting low on groceries so I'll go to Super Saver tomorrow and stock up. I had Cheetos for supper I was so lazy. Bijou ate the cheese that stuck to my fingers, he waited patiently at my feet till I was finished. I had a slice of cheese pizza for lunch. I have spurts where I don't eat healthy but I usually start craving healthy food after my body crashes. I need to get back with moderate exercise and balanced meals but it's been too cold to get motivated. It is hard work to fix a good meal and clean up after. Forgot to mention I've tried chocolate peppermint and triple ginger in the Dewey cookies. I liked both. Good night.
@hullie Jason now often grabs a stack of those Dewey's cookies instead of the bags of chips. And, I mean a whole sleeve of those cookies. They aren't going to last long in our house.
It sure has been cold. I certainly understand not wanting to get out when it is this cold. Today, it is suppose to reach 40 degrees. I hope it is warmer in NE where you are at so that you can get out.
The last two weeks we have ordered our groceries online for pick-up because of the cold. I haven't wanted to go. It is different to do but has worked well. My DD has done all of her grocery shopping this way for a long time. I usually like to pick out my own fruits and vegetables.
Have a good day.
I have been thinking of that grocery delivery thing. I believe Sam's club offers it here. Like you I prefer to pick out my own fruits, vegetables and also meats myself. It also makes me leave my home otherwise I would be content to just enjoy my home and small lake without ever leaving. The bad weather, communicable diseases and my aging body make it something I might need. It has warmed up today so I'll do a grocery run. The ice on top of our lake has started thawing.

I have this on top of a bookcase. It's one of my favorite quotes.
wishing everyone a great day. They are coming today to take out the wall between my kitchen and dining room. I have to say my anxiety level is high. 🤪🤪
Then they will start my kitchen soon. It's a cabinet guy that works by himself. He won't be finished before Christmas, but that's ok. The granite people will only measure after the cabinets are installed.
@lynnie61, Sounds nice! It's better for work not to be rushed. My plans are going very slow but inch by inch.

Your renovations sound great, something wonderful to look forward to. I spend the most time in my kitchen, probably more than sleeping. I do countless reorganizing to make it easier to work in. I hope you will be able to fix meals during this process, especially this time of year when it can be so cold to go out to eat.

Merry Christmas and Happy Tuesday to ya! It's a cold and pretty day here today! With Sunshine!
I just heard our weather forecast for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Eve... 68 degrees for the high and Christmas Day, 71 degrees for the high with keeping an eye on some rain.
With a high of 71 degrees, we won't have to bundle up and will be able to spill over outside if her house gets crowded. I love sitting outside anyway. I hope that any rain will hold off.
From watching crafting videos, there are a lot of crafting ideas that I want to do. And continue my home improvements and start the project of bringing back flowers to the front of my home. A lot of new year projects for me.
We don't have to decorate or even exchange gifts at Christmas time. Sometimes there are things going on out of our control that demand our attention. Keeping Christmas in our hearts is all we need to recieve Hope and Joy. I hope that each of you are feeling Joyful as we celebrate the Birth of Jesus.
I better go and get my hands busy. Have a Blessed day dear friends! Love and Hugs to ya!
