I don't know if it's truly boredom or if you just cannot decide what to do.  I have days like that and end up usually being pretty unproductive, LOL!    It's okay though, the time will pass soon enough.  You should be proud that you got all your chores done for the day.  Me, I would be saying to myself, "well, it's 5:00 somewhere!"

l will trade !  Husband home from hospital after being in for over 2weeks in 3 different times in the last month including transfer by air helicopter once . He is on continuous oxygen , home nurses and others coming .  l am making all meals for him which is different since we each got our own food in the past . l am getting his meds (a lot of them ) and he always managed his own . He is so short of breath , has covid pneumonia he can't even get to another room . l had to buy and assemble a bedside commode, so another thing to take care of .

On top of all that , l am having my bathroom remodel done it's been in planning for months and the carpenters can start Monday . Everyone says cancel , but this medical stuff has been going on for over a month and l just want to get the bathroom done , all the supplies are in my garage in the way . They were also going to take out the Living Room carpet and put wood planking down . So besides all the stuff with my husband , l am cleaning out the bathroom and living room so that can get done !

Then there are the multiple phones call from Doctors and nurses etc . Example , Thursday he had labs drawn , got a call from Dr office to go to ER because he needed a blood transfusion . So the whole afternoon and evening spent in ER , was decided he didn't need it after all . I would love a little boredom !

@judianne   You are definitely Wonder Woman.  Sending you hugs, best wishes, strength, and whatever else you need.  Be proud of yourself, you have a full plate and you just keep surging ahead.  What a strong person you are.  Good job and good for you, hope your husband gets better very soon.

@Luvsmyfam   I just got done vacuuming the stairs & the inside of my car after I changed the buttons on a cardigan & did the laundry. I'm looking forward to a grande mocha and a little "boredom." LOL

I hope you end up having a very good day.

@Luvsmyfam    Get a catalog from your local community college and investigate evening hobby type classes that they offer.  Try something new you never considered before.

If you're bored, you need a leisure time activity to stimulate your brain.

Re: Ho hum boring

[ Edited ]

What I did today is my regular housecleaning and then some.  Cleaned out pantry and sort of a catch all.  Mess after Xmas.  Had some ideas on storage downstairs and more convenient ways to do things so did that as well.

Talked to my brother, took out recyclable and garbage and sent my husband to the store.

Church at 4 and then prepare supper after.  Rest of the night relax with a movie or do puzzle we have been working on.   Probably both.

I work full time so Saturday is chore day and Sunday is a me day or a day to help others in my family that can use a hand now and then.  I don't have much time to be bored but I have my moments of being restless.  I have a hard time sitting down most days.

January is a hard month for me and always cold and snowy and dark early.  So spend my time organizing and purging stuff.  Always something to clean as well.

You can always call a friend and do something or hit 2nd hand shops for fun.  My grand daughter loves to do that or  walk the mall or just take a walk.  Works for me always.

How about doing something nice for someone else? A call to a housebound friend maybe?

@Love my grandkids

Thought maybe she knew me better than to think I was being negative towards her. Will watch what I type more closely to her if I comment in any of her future posts.

Thank you for this clarification.
