I'm overwhelmed by the warmth and birthday wishes. Thank you all so much for taking your time to write your  wishes....and the gorgeous photos, too.

I "braved out" and ordered a 2 lb. whole lobster. He/she arrived with the waiter holding it on a giant platter with a silver dome over it. When he lifted the cover, there was parsley, lemon slices, a bowl of hot butter and "knockers/crackers/pickers". I must have looked perplexed, because he leaned down and asked if he could take it to the kitchen and remove it all from the shell for me. The angels sang!!!

DH gifted me a tiny .25 ct. diamond necklace. The stone is bezel set and on a white gold 16" chain....Just what I wanted and mentioned a year or so ago. 

My kids, knowing how I love the blue and white porcelain or china pieces, found an large, antique bowl that is going on my dresser holding all my bangles to replace the TJ MAXX glass one.

My Charlotte family gave me a huge off-white b

Barefoot Dreams throw knowing my nap habit (addiction?). 

Oh, my birthday cake? OMG, my favorite Boston Cream Pie....4 layers high and decorated with sugared flowers and leaves in all colors. The granddaughters had placed mini lippies on top as a nod to my love of makeup. 

BTW, a full face of makeup...I mean full!!! BB Tinted moisturizer, Westman Atilier foundation sticks, WA blush stick in Petal. I used my new BB shadow palette from the Nord. sale, navy liner (UD 24/7) and Tarte Mascara. A bright lipstick... Bobbi Brown Crushed lipstick in Babe w/ MAC liner in Marnie and a bright pink gloss. I finished my look with an Hourglass Highlighter from a three shade palette. I straightened my hair with the large Revlon dryer brush and added a bit of VERB OIL. That was the shocker of the night. No one had seen how long my hair actually is "uncurled".

I wish you all could have been there to help blow out my candles. Nope, not 75 of them, but our family's usual 3 candles...for past, present and future. 

It was the perfect night...2 COSMOS and under the covers by midnight.
