I had a lovely birthday. DH and I had a nice dinner at IHOP - I had a BLT with onion rings - yum! I'm not used to eating like that, so I could barely eat a thin slice of birthday cake afterwards. DH couldn't find the lemon cake I wanted from Ralph's, primarily because he chose not to go to Ralph's (men are so weird) and he bought a fancy schmancy "artisan" cake from somewhere else, very expensive and not as good to tell you the truth. Of course I made of fuss over the one he bought - it was lemon and it was pretty, so he did succeed in his mission
