Glad the worst part is behind you. Sending good thoughts.
My dad had his removed when he was in his 90's. I couldn't believe how much better his vision was. I remember I could not read the print of one of my medication bottles. My reading glasses were useless. I brought the bottle to my dad and he read it as if it was 16 font.![]()

- Sorry to hear that. Dry eyes are a common side effect of cataract surgery. With moisturizing eye drops ( actually any eye drops ) it is recommended that after you insert the drops to keep your eyes closed for at least 2 to 3 minutes . Please let your doctor know that the over the counter eye drops are not helping you- there are many prescription drops that should improve the dryness.

@rockygems123 Had my both cataracts removed a year apart about 5 years ago. Since I have an astigmatism in one of my eyes, it was necessary for me to get the expensive lens for that eye, but the other eye had the standard lens. My vision is great. Glad all went well for you. P.S. So glad your son likes the soup! It's one of my adult son's favorites as well.
