Blessings to you. It is so hard. You have gotten through this before and you will again. You are so wise to seek help and you have friends and others to help you. Unfortunately, the only way to get through it --- is to get through it -- and you will. Losing such a special person is just the most traumatic thing ever. I lost my dear Mother several years ago and while I can say I am at the point now where I can bear it, the pain never entirely goes away and it never will. That's because we love these people so deeply and so fully. When they pass, they take a piece of our heart with them and they keep it with them in heaven until we are reunited with them there. You feel weak, but you are strong, and with the help of others and your faith, you will get through it -- and your wonderful memories will help sustain you.

I'm going through this, I lost my beloved twin sister on the 15th and I do understand and can share your grief.

@CalminHeart I'm just now seeing this; I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I have a brother and I can't imagine losing him as he is one of the kindest, sweetest, most decent people I have ever known.

It would truly be a loss to this world when/if he leaves it.

Sounds like your brother was the same.
