I got my haircut yesterday, and then picked Brian up so we could grocery shop. We got some things we needed, and then I took him to Raising Cane's chicken. He likes the food and root beer there.

I didn't cook last night, as my DH didn't get home until 8:00.We ate leftovers from the refrigerator. I plan to make burgers tonight. We had chili dogs last week, and really liked the buns I bought. So, I bought the same brand for our burgers. I had always bought Mrs. Bairds buns, but these are Sunbeam.

Today is my laundry day.

you can cut the air with a knife,it is so thick with humidity. did do a 2 mile walk today and I was soaked by time I got back home.

cleaned part of my room, threw out the old bench style chair to my make up table. I got a new chair which I love a few weeks ago and it is wonderful.

HI everyone: It's 92 but not as humid as it was this morning early. I walked Snickers around the circle, had coffee fed her read the newspaper online because it was late. Walked briskly because Snickers didn't want to.
Then I headed to CVS for Afrin nasal spray because a friend said it stops nosebleads. I haven't needed it but just in case , I'll have it. My Dr appointment is tomorrow afternoon. Then went to my son's for my granddaughter's birthday breakfast.
She and her friend had decorated the house with streamers and balloons in the open foyer, living room, dining room and kitchen. She had a shirt on saying "It's my birthday ". Three dogs were there, and Tony is afraid of balloons.
Her other friend arrived shortly after her mother with bacon, cheese bagels and sausage bagels. And big box of large assorted donuts. They were from a restaurant in New Kent county where x DIL lives now.They were delicious . It's about 45 minutes away.
( My son had to open his store at 11:30 and I left at 10:30 stopping at the consignment store. Summer things are out but I needed to arrange seashells so didn't buy anything. ).
She loved all of her gifts and her friends saved several for later. It's hard to believe she's 18 today. My son is still searching for a better car for her with school far away.
I just finished changing arrangements to seashells in every room, it looks lighter and Summery.
Keep cool in this heat, it's dangerous out there.

I remember all 12 vividly and still can sing all of them......I don't know if that's a good or bad thing..I know it means I am not young.

Hey @viva923, I didn't realise that your area has heavy humidity. It makes the temperatures feel so much hotter and you feel like you're in the steamer. You are good that you got in a 2 mile walk. Enjoy your new vanity chair!
