Do you have special plans for Father's Day? I don't have any gathering plans but plan to reflect on special memories!
@Sweet Caroline 1 & all: I seldom know what we're doing for holidays until the last minute. My son will be working I guess and I got him a bottle of Crown Royal he said was awesome before but too expensive. It was. But he brings food and doesn't want money, I have to sneak it to him or insist.
The tree company supervisor who was supposed to be here at 10 didn't come so at 11:I texted and called the office. At noon the company owner who was at least 95 came and held onto his truck walking with a cane to view the swil & squished drain pipe. His hearing was fine but I couldn't hear him. I explained how I'd told three people not to run over it. Two workers came at 12 and dug down to the pipe, cut it off as I'd suggested amd left at 12:30 . I took photos. I guess they're buying supplies to fix it. Rain is due tomorrow.
There's water in the hole from the night before it was broken so it was working. I'm stuck home again waiting,
Snickers had a bath, and laundry is finishing.
The grass men came and were surprised at the work that's been done. I had him blow more leaves away from the fence and the dog pen, they cut the grass in the bamboo area. Most of the front is demolished from tree work, I'm waiting and can't t get to the store to help my son today
Keep cool y'all! It's 89 and feels hotter.

@1Snickers, I'm sorry that your drain pipe was damaged in the tree removal process. It was almost a one and done but those are getting more and more fewer these days. I hope that the repair goes good as new and not another issue. That type of thing can emotionally break you down. It does me.
I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day gathering and that you and your son have a special weekend. Big Hugs! ![]()

My DD and SIL plan to take Jason out for dinner. I will get to tag along. But, he can't decide where he wants to go. He really feels it isn't necessary for them to take him out.
Jason will call his Dad to wish him a goood day.
Gracie and Maggie will play with Jason.
Of course, I will be remembering my Dad that passed away back in 2002. I have many great memories.

@Sassy7356 , and all. Our dry and hot weather pattern is settling in here. Today is above 90, and is expected to rise higher. The rain was nice, but of course not the storms.
I want to wish you all a wonderful evening, and a happy Friday. We are planning to grill steaks for Father's day. I will bake potatoes in our Ninja.
Take good care.
